The past year has been an education. We’re all earning PHD’s in something, we just don’t know what to call it yet. Well, we probably do have some names that we’d attach to the past 12 months but….
Seriously, opportunity to learn and grow has been all around us. Pop quiz: Do you know what sight architecture is? Or, what about crawler errors? A canonical tag? I didn’t either until going back to class. Currently, I am taking a Digital Marketing Mastery course to improve my skills and grasp a better understanding how marketing & advertising works today. It’s a significant investment in time and brain power. But, will only make me better, which will help me help you better.
After 30 years in the advertising business I must admit, the past year has been humbling. If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that any change in the use of technology was simply put on a fast track. It’s like what was going to happen over time, say 5 years, has been crammed into one.
No one is a finished product, certainly not me. After 30 years of marketing and advertising, I know a bit but, have so much more to understand and grasp. And I am learning like I haven’t since I attended high school or college. In fact, I am also excited to be re-enrolling in Mid-West Family Sales University next week, with day long sessions on March 10-12. If you happen to reach out for anything, I may be a bit tardy returning a message. But, that’s because I’ll be practicing fundamentals and learning new skills to get greater results for you, my clients.
Now, I gotta go. Don’t want to be late for class! Thanks for reading!
